Whether you take the route through meadows or woodlands, it is a great opportunity for families to enjoy a bit of adventure this winter. You can join the trail at several points but if you\u2019re just wanting a bit of fresh air and a slow stroll, we recommend the route between Winchester city centre and St. Catherines Hill. It is a great, back and forth walk that isn\u2019t too long. If you\u2019re visiting in December, you could even combine your walk with the Winchester Christmas Market for an extra special trip out. Let your little ones run wild among the trees in Alice Holt Forest, it really is the perfect winter adventure. There are loads of flat trails ideal for little legs and wheelchair and pushchair users. The Habitat Trail is a great walk for children as it has lots of play sculptures along the way. The Gruffalo Sculpture Trail is always a great hit too with younger ones. For families wanting a steady stroll, we recommend the short woodland trail. The length of this walk is 3km and takes around an hour, it <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">is great for families with little ones who just want a bit fresh air.
