The wildlife centre provides information about local wildlife and how the city manages open spaces to protect wildlife and increase biodiversity. This is far from a boring hike when you\u2019ve got stunning views from every turn. Many people stop off at Cuckmere Haven for a break and to see the beach. There are many different paths depending on how easy or difficult you want it to be.<\/p><p>The Booth Museum of Natural History is a Victorian treasure trove that&#8217;ll spark intrigue for both kids and adults. Discover specimens of butterflies and other insects, birds and bones. There is also a Victorian study with taxidermy and a discovery lab for youngsters.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-76701ae elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"76701ae\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If you\u2019re looking for a free art gallery, the Towner Art Museum in Eastbourne regularly hosts exhibitions alongside its Towner art collection. There is also a cinema with its own caf\u00e9 and bar, learning programme (for adults and children), a shop and restaurant and bar. They have lots of free events for kids over the summer holidays.<\/p><p>Chichester Cathedral has a family-friendly atmosphere where regular, seasonal events take place. The architecture alone is worth the visit with fascinating stained-glass windows and intricate stonework. The walk down is worth every step and once you&#8217;re there, you can experience a little slice of Dorset paradise.\u00a0<\/li><li>Bournemouth Beach and Studland Bay are also beautiful beaches and popular with tourists as they\u2019re easily accessible. These are free to visit, but be mindful that the nearby carparks may not be free.\u00a0<\/li><li>Durdle Door is an iconic landmark, part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. It\u2019s a must-see for anyone visiting Dorset, and there\u2019s nothing quite like it in the UK.<\/li><li>Alum Chine Tropical Gardens is a walkway of beautiful tropical flowers leading to a cliffs edge with views of the beach below that is walking distance. It&#8217;s the kind of place that makes you think you\u2019re in a tropical country rather than England. There are shaded paths and a pirate-themed play area, so great for small children and pushchairs.\u00a0<\/li><li>Durlston Country Park is a must-visit with its beautiful scenery, wildlife sightings and Victorian heritage. Take a tour of Durlston Castle or experience its many exhibitions, guided walks and activity trials.
