Family Friendly Firework Displays Across Southern England

There is something truly special about watching the sky sparkle and fill with colourful
patterns in your local community. Firework nights are a great family-friendly tradition; they
offer families the opportunity to come together and create unforgettable memories. It’s a
night full of wonder, a chance for families to step outside of their normal daily routines and
come together to enjoy the seasonal magic. Kids are bound to be amazed by the sparkling
sights and adults can equally enjoy the show.


We’ve compiled a list of some of the best Autumn firework displays in the South of England
that we hope will spark some interest.

Lapstone Fireworks

Where: Botley Road, Hampshire, SO50 7AP.
When: Friday 24th October 2025.


Join the celebrations at The Lapstone on Friday 24th October for their fantastic annual
firework display. This event is really beautiful, it is set against the backdrop of Lapstone and
guarantees a dazzling night for the whole family. Experience the delight of watching the sky
light up with a warm drink, community atmosphere and yummy food. Tickets for this event
cost £5 from The Lapstone or £6 online, under 12s go free! Don’t miss this sparkling event,
it’s perfect for all ages.

Littlehampton Torchlight Parade and Firework Celebrations

Where: Starts on Fitzalan Road and ends on East Beach Green, West Sussex, BN17 5NY.
When: Saturday 25th October 2025.


Mark the calendars and get ready for a magical night of tradition and excitement at this
year’s firework celebrations. On Saturday 25th October, a spectacular torchlight parade will
start on Fitzalan Road. Featuring marching bands, floats and community groups as they
make their way down to East Beach Green. Here, they will light the bonfire, followed by an
amazing fireworks display. There will also be a funfair, hosted by Coles Funfair from 2pm,
which will include rides and games for all ages. Please note, there will be parking restrictions
and road closures due to the parade.

Funland Hayling Island Fright Nights Fireworks

Where: Funland Hayling Island, The Seafront, Hampshire, PO11 0AG.
When: Saturday 25th and Friday 31st October 2025.


Head on over to Funland Hayling Island for their Fright Nights Firework displays. If you’re
looking for a spooky twist on your usual firework celebrations, then this event is a must.
Taking place on Saturday 25th and Friday 31st October, there will be pumpkins for little ones
to carve and an exciting fair with plenty of rides for all ages. To end the night, the sky will
light up with impressive fireworks. So, whether you’re dressing up or just coming for the fun,
it’s the perfect way to end October with the whole family.

Petersfield Round Table Fireworks

Where: Bell Hill Recreation Ground, Hampshire, GU32 3BU.
When: Saturday 1st November 2025.


Petersfield Round Table Fireworks are back for their 34th year, so get ready for a dazzling
night full of fun and community spirit. Held at Bell Hill Recreation Ground, this family friendly
evening will feature a warming bonfire, delicious food and promises a sky filled with
fireworks. This event is popular with locals and it’s no wonder, every penny raised goes
straight to local charities. The gates typically open around 5:30pm, though be sure to buy
tickets in advance and wrap up warm.

Cuckfield Bonfire Night

Where: Cuckfield, Haywards Heath, Sussex, RH17 5AB.
When: Saturday 1st November 2025.


This family friendly event is held at the beautiful grounds of Cuckfield Park on Saturday 1st
November. There will be a bonfire, firework displays and music! The gates will open from
5:30pm then music and fireworks will start at 7:30pm. There will be a huge variety of food
available from hot dogs and pizzas to doughnuts and sweets. You will need a ticket for this
event; you can get them online or upon entrance. Adult tickets are £10 and under 18s tickets
are £5, children under the age of 5 go free. All proceeds go straight towards charities like
Holy Trinity School Cuckfield, Woodlands Meeds and Kangaroos. Making this a really
special event.

Hatch Warren Fireworks Spectacular

Where: Hatch Warren Community Centre, Hampshire, RG22 4XF.
When: Saturday 1st November 2025.


Every November the skies above Hatch Warren come alive with sparkling colour during their
Fireworks Spectacular. Held at Hatch Warren Community Centre, this very popular event
offers a lot more than just fireworks. It brings together families and residents alike for an
evening of unforgettable entertainment and celebration. This year, on Saturday 1st
November, gates will open from 5:30pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the community
atmosphere. Including food stalls, glow in the dark goodies and even a live DJ, before the
7:30pm fireworks start.

Weymouth Bonfire Fireworks and Guy Fawkes Celebrations

Where: Weymouth Beach, The Esplanade, Dorset, DT8 8ED.
When: Wednesday 5th November 2025.


This year, on Wednesday 5th November, families will gather on Weymouth Esplanade to
enjoy the community’s bonfire and firework celebrations. There will be stalls selling delicious
food from 6pm along the Promenade, then the bonfire will be lit at 7:40pm followed by an
amazing firework display on Weymouth Bay at 8pm. With the lovely community atmosphere
and the sea backdrop, it’s a fantastic way to make lasting memories together.

Bournemouth Fireworks at Littledown Centre

Where: Littledown Centre, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH7 7DX.
When: Saturday 8th November 2025.


This November, one of Bournemouth’s biggest family event is back! The Bournemouth
Firework Display returns to Littledown Centre on Saturday 8th November. Alongside this
spectacular firework display, families can enjoy live music, a giant funfair with thrilling rides
as well as yummy street food. So, wrap up warm and get ready to celebrate this season in
style.

Wadhurst Warriors Annual Bonfire and Fireworks Display

Where: Stone Cross Farm, East Sussex, TN5 6LS.
When: Saturday 8th November 2025.


This November, Wadhurst village will come alive with their incredible annual Bonfire and
Firework Displays. On Saturday 8th November, families will gather for an unforgettable
evening of community spirit, amazing food and beautiful fireworks. There will be a huge
range of tasty food, including the legendary Warrior’s Whopper at the BBQ. The gates open
from 5:30pm and the bonfire is lit at 6:30pm. The following hour, at 7:30pm, the fireworks will
spark the night sky. This event is run exclusively by volunteers, making it a real community
treat.
