A day of fun for all the family to raise money for Holybourne Cricket Club and to support 8th Alton Scouts.
Registration for Competitors opens at 2.30pm. All over 18s are welcome to take on a range of challenges in our version of the Highland Games; you don't have to be a super strong athlete, you just need to want to have some fun! Games begin at 3pm and we encourage friends, family and spectators to cheer on our competitors with awards presented at approx 6pm
The Scottish fun will continue into the evening with a ceilidh with band from 7pm - a caller will lead you through Scottish country dances so no experience necessary
Food and bar will be available throughout the afternoon and evening so even if competing in the Highland Games or Scottish dancing isn't your thing you can still come along and enjoy the community atmosphere with the backdrop of our beautiful Hampshire countryside. During the afternoon there will be mini versions of the games for children to try.
You can either purchase a ticket as a Competitor or a Spectator. Spectator tickets cover both the Games and Ceilidh so you can attend as much or little of the day as you choose and you can go and come back as needed. Under 16s are free but please choose a free ticket so that we can plan numbers.
Competitors will be working in teams of 5. You can purchase a solo competitor ticket and we will allocate you to a team or you can enter your own team (& get a discount!) by purchasing a team ticket
There is also a ticket option for 'Dontation' so if you are unable to attend, or would like to make an additional donation to these fantastic community groups, then use this option for a value of your choice.
